JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for machinists to complete specific position:

Operate with precision CNC machines and use measuring tools according to our procedures and quality standards;

Be responsible for quality of all undertaken projects and work in a safe manner;

Perform all other tasks that are related to his expertise as required by the department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Machinist diploma or related education and experience in metallurgy;

Overall work experience in industry between three (3) and five (5) years;

Availability to work on day, night, or week-end schedule;

Ability to communicate in English, knowledge of French language will be an asset.

COMPENSATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a full time job for a contract of three (3) years;

Wages, based on candidate’s experience, are between $15 and $17 per hour and will be reviewed after the evaluation/probation period of three (3) months;

Regular work week is forty (40) hours, overtime is paid at one and a half time of regular wage after forty (40) hours of work

- Tools and safety glasses provided at the start of employment;
- Uniforms and safety boots after the probation period that is three (3) months;
- Insurance plan with permanent employment after contract completed;
- Pension plan after five (5) years of permanent employment.

The shop is a state of the art and the entire site is air-conditioned or heated accordingly to the weather;

Paid vacations are: one (1) week after first year worked, two (2) weeks after second year worked. In case of permanent employment, more vacations are offered accordingly to seniority;

The airline ticket is prepaid by the company and will be refunded by the potential employee by deduction from every pay. The total amount will be returned as a bonus after the completion of his contract under the condition that the employee stays with company for the period of at least two (2) years;
